1. UGC Video Creatives: Show videos that outline the benefits of your product in an entertaining way.
2. Good Website: Ensure your site smoothly guides users from Add to Cart to Complete Checkout.
3. Great Offer: Make sure your product delivers on its promise and clearly communicate this in a 30 to 40-second video.

Without all three elements, he noted, converting customers can be a challenge.

Effective Creative Video Styles

Steve shared that certain video styles tend to convert better on Facebook and TikTok:

1. Review Videos: Testimonial reviews from your ideal customer profile.
2. 3 Reasons Why: Engaging videos that highlight three reasons why a customer bought your product.
3. Comparison Videos: Comparing your product to a competitor’s in a favourable light.

He advised starting with review videos, as they often yield the best results.

Writing UGC Scripts and Finding Creators

He provided practical advice on crafting user-generated content (UGC) scripts and sourcing creators at a good price. He recommended utilising platforms like Facebook Ad Library and TikTok Creative Centre for inspiration and competitive analysis.

In the fast-paced world of social media, grabbing your audience’s attention within the first three seconds is crucial. The session suggested using a question or callout, making a strong statement, or incorporating a pattern interrupt to keep viewers engaged.

Retargeting Post iOS Changes

With many users opting out of tracking, retargeting has become more challenging. Steve’s advice? Focus on retargeting video viewers who watched 50%, 75%, or 95% of your videos and set up engagement audiences on Facebook and Instagram.
