For a next level experience, Reed Gift Fairs offers qualifying premium buyers a number of added benefits to enhance their time at the fairs. VIP or Platinum status is by invitation only and to qualify for either program, buyers must meet the below minimum requirements and criteria based on information provided during the registration process and by our exhibitors.
VIP Buyers
Maximum of 3 people per company
- Must be an Owner/Partner/Director/Head Buyer or Store Manager
- Must be key Decision Maker for their company
- A minimum total yearly buying budget/spend of $20,000+
- A minimum social media following of 1,000 (Facebook and Instagram)
Platinum Buyers
Maximum of 2 people per company
- Must be an Owner/Partner/Director or Head Buyer
- Must be a key Decision Maker for the company
- A minimum of 2 or more outlets (unless an Online Retailer)
- A minimum total yearly buying budget/spend of $50,000+
- A minimum social media following of 2,000 (Facebook and Instagram)
Buyers must attend, at minimum, one National show (Sydney February or Melbourne August) per year to retain their VIP or Platinum status active.
As a buyer with VIP or Platinum status you are entitled to the below benefits at the fairs:
VIP Benefits
- Access to a dedicated VIP lounge with complimentary food & beverage (including Happy Hour) for yourself and one guest
VIP Lounge at the MCEC only. Vouchers available at the Showgrounds for complimentary food & beverages – collect at the Showgrounds Customer Service desk.
- Discounted tickets for education programs
- Special gifts, event invitations and member discounts throughout the year
Platinum Benefits
- Access to a dedicated Platinum lounge with complimentary food & beverage for yourself and one accompanying guest
Platinum Lounge at the MCEC only. Vouchers available at the Showgrounds for complimentary food & beverages – collect at the Showgrounds Customer Service desk.
- Complimentary tickets for education programs
- Goody Bag of selected exhibitor products*
- Special gifts, event invitations and member discounts throughout the year

Reed Gift Fairs will review eligibility of registered buyers twice a year (including exhibitor nominations) and qualifying buyers will be contacted directly by our team to advise of their new status.
