In this difficult and uncertain time, the health and safety of our colleagues, exhibitors and visitors is of paramount importance to Reed Exhibitions. With that in mind, we have developed a formal set of enhanced health and safety protocols in collaboration with industry task forces for our upcoming events. See Events In The New Normal to read in full. For an overview of how we will be helping all our customers do business in a safe environment, please see here.
New COVID Safe Event Terms & Conditions
As a trade-only event all attendees must register with the appropriate business information to prove legitimacy to the industry. Attendees must wear their unique name badge at all times and will be subject to ID checks where necessary. Your badge gives you access to Life Instyle and Reed Gift Fairs at the MCEC Melbourne ONLY. If you wish to attend any other events within the calendar year you will be required to register separately.
Guest Tickets will not be available for purchase at this event, allowing us to safely control visitor numbers and contact tracing where required.
To ensure a Covid safe environment for all attendees we are limiting cash sales and personal shopping at Reed Gift Fairs. This measure is to reduce congestion in thoroughfares, product handling and the use of cash onsite. We wish to advise that personal shopping and cash sales will be limited to legitimate retail purchases conducted in the last hour of the final day. We wish to remind you that ALL trolleys and suitcases are banned on all days of the Fair irrespective of size.
Based on the current 1 person per 2sqm capacity rule and the historical attendance at Reed Gift Fairs, the daily attendance at any one time falls under this capacity level, however we will be monitoring congestion and have a number of safety initiatives in place aligned to the VIC Health requirements and their consultation.
If face masks are required for Reed Gift Fair, as part of the VIC Government mandate, all patrons will be required to wear a face mask as a condition of entry. All attendees will be notified of this requirement prior to the fair. You can also check back here for updates, as we will revise this information regularly. Additional information on face masks and their use can be found here.
