Città creates enduring design staples and limited edition seasonal collections that are always fresh and original. From furniture and lighting, to textiles and accessories, our products are designed in New Zealand to be useful, beautiful and even a little bit fun. Based on a relaxed antipodean philosophy of life and travel, and inspired by the world's unique cultures and artistic movements, we share our design story, retold by you - through the way you live and use our products. Our Head of Textile and Product Design, Imogen Tunnicliffe has lived and worked as an artist in both the UK and New York. Imogen oversees all aspects of the design process and is directly responsible for developing and researching the seasonal themes, colour palettes as well as producing textile and product designs. "Developing ideas with knowledge behind you creates design with meaning and integrity - it gives you a story to tell." David Moreland heads up the Furniture and 3D Design team. He worked for David Trubridge, manufacturing steam bent timber furniture and spent 8 years as a designer and head of production at Simon James Design. At Città, David is excited about the future scope and possibilities for the brand, which is a growth process he enjoys being a part of. "The scale of the production is amazing, which opens up all sorts of opportunities. This makes the scope of a project so much wider and the possibilities far more open." We're based in Auckland, New Zealand, but you'll find our seasonal collections and design classics in discerning home and design retailers throughout the world.
