3.92 billion plastic bags are used by Australians every year. Recently, in an attempt to cut this number down major stores have banned plastic bags. Hogate offers re-usable nylon shopping bags. Our bags are unique in that they are foldable into compact forms – some fold into something as a subtle as a rectangle, others as adorable as a strawberry. They are superior quality Korean products made of durable material and reinforced stitching. Moreover, Hogate offers the ECO II Umbrella Dryer – a product that removes up to 90% of water on an umbrella and does not rely on electricity. The portable equipment can be placed at the entrance of your business and utilises magnetic attachments to remove water droplets. Hogate started as a cleaning service company in 2016. In managing organisations’ recycling systems, the company was inspired to take steps into the wholesale business with overarching pro-environment objectives. Foldable shopping bags and umbrella drying devices have become mainstream in Korean society after the government’s enforcement of tougher plastic bag policies. Hogate believes a similar scenario will play out in Australia.
