  • What trade credentials do I need to attend Reed Gift Fairs?

    Reed Gift Fairs is a trade only event and admission is free upon validation of the necessary trade credentials (listed below) and completion of the registration process.

    If you are a current GIC holder it will expire 31st December 2017 and you will need to re-register over the coming months to ensure you have access to all events in 2017. To find out more about changes to our registration process click here. If you wish to re-register now just use your current GIC number and click here.

    For any new registrations or re-registrations we recommend you pre-register online prior to the fair to avoid the on-site queues. The organiser Reed Exhibitions reserves the right to refuse admission at their discretion.

    Reed Gift Fairs is for trade visitors from the Gift & Homewares industry only. To register, you will be required to upload 2 documents as evidence of your industry involvement.

    ONE Personal Business ID document, dated within the last 12 months, with your name and the registered business name on it

    Accepted documents;

    • Personal Payslip (please black out payment details)
    • Business Invoice (showing your company has previously purchased relevant product)
    • Business Credit Card
    • Business Cheque Book
    • Business Registration Certificate
    • Letter on company letterhead confirming your employment by the owner/director

    AND

    ONE document with your ABN in print (Australian Companies only)

    Accepted documents;

    • ABN printed on a receipt
    • ABN registration form/certificate
    • ABN printed on a company letterhead or business card
    • Print out/screen shot from the ‘ABN Look-Up’ on the Government website
  • When do I need to wear my badge?

    Reed Gift Fairs is a TRADE ONLY event and badges must be worn and clearly displayed at all times when you are at the show.
  • Can a guest accompany me to the fair?

    Reed Gift Fairs is a TRADE ONLY event, however as a registered buyer you can bring one non-industry guest with you each day, except on the last day. Your guest can only come in and walk around with you, they cannot make any purchases themselves. Simply request a Guest sticker at the registration desk. A new sticker is required for each day of the fair your guest attends.

    Please note: As of 2018 we will be introducing a Buyers Guest Ticket. Guests will no longer attend for free and a charge of $50 per day will apply with tickets only available to purchase in person on the day by the registered buyer. In preparation for these new charges we recommend that all legitimate trade attendees register as a buyer with the required documentation to avoid any unnecessary costs.

  • Are children and babies allowed to attend?

    As a business event Reed Gift Fairs discourages children under 14 attending the fair. Babies and toddlers (aged 0-2) are permitted if they are in a pram or carrying device at all times. Please complete an approval form at the Customer Service desk for all children and prams, and a sticker will be provided to be displayed at all times for security.

  • Are photographs permitted at the event?

    To protect the privacy and confidentiality of exhibitors and their products, no video or still photography from digital cameras or mobile phones is permitted without prior approval from the exhibitor.

  • Are cash sales permitted?

    The sale and removal of product from within the fair is restricted to the final
    hour of the final day (2-3pm only). Removal of product prior to this time
    is not allowed without approval from the organisers.

    Plain clothes security guards are on patrol at all times.

  • Can I store my items in the cloakroom?

    Items larger than a standard size briefcase are not allowed into the fair, however we do provide a complimentary cloakroom for secure storage of such items. All cloakrooms will close promptly at 6pm (3pm on the final day). Whilst all care is taken for your property, we do not accept responsibility for items left after this time.

    Yes we do! This is free of charge for our visitors travelling from Tullamarine Airport and Reed Gift Fairs Melbourne Showgrounds. Find out more here.
