Reed Gift Fairs is a trade only event and admission is free for buyers upon validation of the registration process.
If you own a valid Gift Industry Card (GIC) you do not need to register, though we do encourage you to double check and update your details. For easy access simply bring your GIC with you to the fair and scan it at one of the scanning stations, where you will be issued with your name badge. Your name badge must be worn and visual at all times.
If you do need to register we recommend you pre-register online prior to the fair to avoid the on-site queues.
The organiser Reed Exhibitions reserves the right to refuse admission at their discretion.
PHOTO ID SCANNING
New! Reed Gift Fairs will be implementing photo scanning identity technology at this fair. A condition of entry is that all registered exhibitors & visitors to the fair will have a photo taken upon entry. This new security measure is to protect the integrity of the Gift Fairs by ensuring that legitimate, registered visitors only can attend. In the case of refusal of this policy, Reed Exhibitions reserves the right to refuse entry or may request that alternative photo ID be shown.
ACCOMPANYING GUESTS
Each registered visitor may bring ONE guest to assist on the day, except for the final day, when guests are not permitted. The guest does not need to complete a registration form, simply ask for a guest pass when you arrive at the fair. Each day the colour of the Accompanying Guest sticker will change.
Accompanying Guests must:
1. Stay with you at all times
2. Cannot place orders or purchase goods under any circumstances
3. Cannot attend the last day of the fair
*There are no Accompanying Guests permitted entry on the final day of the fair*
PHOTOGRAPHY
To protect the privacy and confidentiality of exhibitors and their products, no video or still photography from digital cameras or mobile phones is permitted.
SECURITY
Uniformed security guards will be on duty for the duration of the fair. Security is taken very seriously, so your name badge must be worn and clearly visible at all times.
CLOAKROOM
Items larger than a standard size briefcase are not allowed into the fair, however we do provide a complimentary cloakroom for secure storage of such items. At the MCEC, the cloakroom is located in the foyer. All cloakrooms will close promptly at 6pm (3pm on the final day). Whilst all care is taken for your property, we do not accept responsibility for items left after this time.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
The Reed Gift Fairs customer service centre is located in Suite 2 between doors 3&4 at the MCEC. The customer service desks will operate throughout the fair for your assistance and convenience.
LOST PROPERTY
Please contact the customer service centre for any lost or found items.
SMOKING
Please note that smoking is not permitted inside either venue.
